2011-2016 NIH Grant RO1 Winner：Scheffer C.G. Tseng, M.D., Ph.D.

     狂賀美國邁阿密「眼科研究中心」主持人（也是我在美進修指導教授）：曾垂拱醫師獲得 RO1 研究補助。

     Congratualtions to Prof. S.C.G. Tseng, my boss in the US, who just competitively renewed his Grant RO1 EY06819-25 "Regulation of Limbal Epithelial Stem Cells by Native Niche."  Dr. Tseng left University of Miami 8 years ago, while the score of this grant will allow him to end -30 (i.e., continuously being funded for 30 years) for the next 5 years, a high note.

     什麽是Grant RO1？這是NIH（美國國立衛生研究院）頂尖的研究計劃經費補助項目之一，3-5年下來金額多在一、兩百萬美元之譜。特別是曾教授算起來已是所謂開業眼科醫師，兼生技公司經營者，因此顯得難能可貴。在此恭喜他。
